Upgrades

Posted by elmolulu on Jan 9, 2010 in Mac |

Just upgraded my macbook with Adobe CS4 and Snow Leopard to work with my Intuos4! Before I was using CS3 and there was significant lags when I was using the brush tool. After the upgrade, everything’s working smoothly!

It took me awhile to upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard. I wasn’t sure what the new features are and if they are really necessary for me. Now I realized what I’ve been missing out for the past few months!

Some of the new features that I like:

-Scrollable Stack, before the icons were so tiny and it doesn’t show u everything, now with the scrollable stack, i get bigger icons plus it shows ALL the files in the folder.

-Expose is all lined up now, easier to find the app you are looking for

-Dock enhancement, how when you click and hold on a app on ur dock, it will show you all the files you have opened in that app!

Apple says finder is suppose to be a lot quicker and time machine should be faster as well. But I dont’ really notice a significant difference there.

Highly recommend upgrade if you are still using 10.5!!
