E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
Just watched E.T. the Extra – Terrestrial 2002 remastered edition tonite. Absolutely loved it. I think I watched it once when I was really small, probably from TVB Pearl in HK. Though I don’t remember anything from the movie, so it was like a new movie to me.
The original version was made in 1982 by Steven Spielberg, he’s truly a genius. He directed and produced countless of outstanding titles such as Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Twister, Men in Black, Transformers, etc.
It’s a movie about friendship. I’m not sure if kids nowadays would be touched by this movie, but I certainly did. I actually cried twice in the movie; once when I thought E.T. was dying and second time when E.T. was leaving. I can sort of feel how depress Elliot must’ve felt when E.T. has to go home.
A nice way to end the weekend.
